Sealy Corporation:

Sealy Corporation is the largest bedding manufacturer in north america, and produces several different lines of mattresses and foundation products.  Sealy’sconventional bedding products (mattresses and foundations) include: Sealy, Sealy Posturepedic, and Sealy Posturepedic Luxury Collection.  Sealy also manufactures many of the component parts that are used inside of their mattresses.  Sealy owns and operates a component manufacturing subsidiary comprised of three plants that manufacture virtually all of the company’s proprietary and patented mattress innerspring requirements, and about half of its foundation components.

Sealy sells its products through more the 7,000 retail outlets, including furniture stores, national mass merchandising companies, department stores and warehouse clubs.

In 2005 Sealy launched two new product lines.  True Form by Sealy Posturepedic, which is made of memory foam that forms to a persons body aiding in producing deep relaxing sleep.  The other product line is Spring Free by Sealy Posturepedic, which has 100% latex core.

Today Sealy is the largest bedding manufacturer in the world.  Other company names which Sealy manufacturers under include:  Stearns & Foster and Bassett brand names.
